This has become a very common ritual. At the end of the week, Oups and Oupsinchen jump into their travel bag/suitcase and go home with the children. The travel diary records all the experiences Oups & Oupsinchen had. This teaches children to reflect on their experiences and write them down in simple sentences.

The stories become even more vivid when written from the perspective of Oups & Oupsinchen. It's a great way to promote writing skills and have fun together. The children are always excited to hear what their little friends have experienced... Depending on the children's abilities, initial small drawings with accompanying texts from parents or older siblings are created. Over the course of a school year, flipping through the booklet reveals what has been learned, and month by month, the texts become longer and longer.
