Where does Oupsinchen travel on the weekend?
Children love to take their mascot home with them. This has become a very common ritual. At the end of the week, Oupsinchen hops into their travel bag/suitcase and goes home with the children. The travel diary records everything Oupsinchen experienced. This helps children learn to reflect on their experiences and write them down in simple sentences.

The stories become even more vivid when written from Oupsinchen's perspective.
This is a great way to promote writing skills and have fun together. The children are always excited to hear what their little friend has experienced... Depending on the children's abilities, initial entries might be small drawings with accompanying texts from parents or older siblings. Over the course of a school year, flipping through the booklet reveals how much they have learned, and month by month, the texts become longer and longer.
