I am creative, I am reliable, I am grateful, I am mindful….
This is just a small sample of qualities that are "packaged" as treasures in our hearts, waiting to be discovered. For this purpose, there is the lovingly designed card set, which I would like to introduce to you here. Each of the lovingly designed cards contains a valuable message that helps us to become aware of these treasures again and again and bring them to light.
The "treasure chest" contains those treasures that were placed in each of our hearts at birth. Unfortunately, we do not always succeed in bringing all treasures to light. Sometimes because we forget about them in everyday life, often also because fears or worries block access to our hearts.
I told the children about the treasures in our hearts and together we thought about what makes us particularly valuable. There is a great page for this in the workbook "Heart Education with Oups".

Through the joint conversation and exchange with each other, the children begin to perceive their own qualities and those of their friends and gradually find more and more words for the good "sides" of their classmates. "You always help when something falls," or "You take such good care of my things when I lend you something." Here, qualities like mindful and reliable, helpful and honest, creative and patient suddenly become significant words and many compliments come naturally. That feels good!
Then I tell the children that there are many more treasures in us that we sometimes don't even know, or haven't even noticed yet. Oups has packed these treasures for us in his treasure chest.

From now on, we can draw a treasure for ourselves every week. This is discussed together, then we philosophize a little about it, and let the drawn card stand in our Oups corner, visible to all of us, for a week.

I am always amazed at how great the children's vocabulary has become over time. The mindful use of words has been strengthened even more by this ritual and we are all very proud of the many treasures that Oups has already shown us!

The card set has become a wonderful enrichment for us and I can really only recommend you to integrate this ritual into your heart education. We loooove it! Here again the link to the card set: Treasures of your heart
